Overview

Olympia Fertility is known as affordable. Our prices are estimated to be up to 50% less than surrounding clinics while maintaining excellent pregnancy rates. We provide an intermediate level of infertility care including basic infertility evaluation up to IVF and ICSI.  Our overhead costs are controlled.   We claim average to above average pregnancy rates.

Pregnancy rates vary by maternal age.  Our high pregnancy rate in older women is due to patient selection, only encouraging women that produce many eggs.

Infertility treatment is not covered by health insurance in Washington State.  Some states require insurance coverage for infertility and even IVF.  If you are lucky enough to work for a nation-wide corporation, your health plan may pay for some medications and treatment.  If your employer offers a Health Saving Account, federal law permits you to use those funds for fertility treatment.  There are lenders who will extend credit for infertility treatment, but infertility treatment is dicey, and frequently fails.  lt is not wise to borrow money for infertility care.

Olympia Fertility does not accept assignment (insurance discounts) for patient care.  Our prices are kept low by requiring full-payment at time of service.

Response to the Google Reviews

Thank you for your feedback through Google reviews.  I read them, and try to improve our care of patients.

Most of our patients work, and we try to accommodate their schedules.  Typically, there are more openings and less waiting for morning appointments.  Appointments get backed up, and are overscheduled in the late afternoon.  Dr. Moruzzi typically stays at the office until all patients have been seen.

Our regular staff departs at 5 pm, and turns the phones to an answering machine.  Dr. Moruzzi remains available by a cell phone listed on the answering machine after 5 pm daily and on weekends.  An after-hours appointment may be interrupted by an urgent phone call from a patient.

As a rule, we get glowing reviews from patients who succeed in getting pregnant, especially if they had a frustrating experience elsewhere.  Of course, patients who do not get pregnant in our care are frustrated by its time and expense.  A guiding principle for our care of patients has been providing quality care at affordable prices.  We share the joy of every successful pregnancy.

Basic infertility care and in vitro fertilization are simple and routine for us.  However, some patients may not respond well to usual care, or have an unusual condition that requires modification of care.  Dr. Moruzzi remains informed by reading fertility journals.  He frequently searches specific topics on PubMed or Google with his patients.  He welcomes additional information that the patient has collected on-line or from special interest groups on Facebook.  The mutual goal is to provide the patient with the best possible care.  Sometimes, this means referring the patient to another doctor better equipped to serve their needs.
